The noble sentry

One of the best ways to locate predators, particularly the elusive leopard, is to carefully observe the prey species especially, the impala! These elegant and beautiful antelope, will always alarm call when they see, hear or smell a predator and are a favourite prey of leopards especially. Whenever in wooded or bush areas, pay close attention to their alarm calls and in the direction they are looking. If you do, you may be rewarded with a thrilling sighting of a golden-honey coloured, spotted cat on the hunt.
