The morning search for breakfast!

The Moorhen is a common water bird that is widespread throughout the UK and much of Europe with the exceptions of a few parts of Scotland and northern Scandinavia. They produce a loud quacking and clucking noise and while swimming, tend to nod heads and jerk their highly held tails constantly. They have a length of 32 - 35 cm.
