The Coal Tit

Just as in this picture, Coal Tits can often be seen searching for food on logs, tree trunks and branches, sometimes hanging upside down. They lay between 7 - 10 red spotted, white eggs in a moss lined tree hole and are found in abundance throughout Europe, although they are a winter visitor in some parts of France and Italy.
