Lone Hunter

Although they live in big clans of up to 80, hyenas typically split up across the plains in search for food. And when they find a carcase or an easy victim, they will be swift to call in reinforcements. Here a lone hyena scours the plains for a potentially easy meal, either something already killed by lions or cheetahs, or best of all, a calf!!
