"Come closer I dare you"

A Nile Crocodile sunbathes with mouth open on the bank of the Mara River. Crocodiles of whatever subspecies being reptiles are cold blooded. By basking in the sun with mouth open, they maintain their body temperature at a suitable level. Not too hot, but not too cool either.

They may look stone still and harmless, but do not be fooled!
